All orders are processed within 4 to 6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. During busy periods, please allow an extra 2 business days. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, which should take 0-2 weeks.

We offer domestic & international shipping.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Penitent Leather is not responsible for these charges if they are applied.

Order Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking # you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.

About our Leather

Leather products are a formerly living material. Every piece of leather carries a literal story within it. The lead designer at Penitent leather, The Penitent Himself, loves a good story. As such, he regularly includes leather with scarring, and it is a great blessing to receive a product with a visible brand. This also means that some leather will be thinner in some places, and leather may occasionally dye somewhat unevenly. At Penitent Leather, we believe this is a feature, and not a bug. Your leather has a story, and so do you. Build experiences together.  

How to Clean

Never get your leather soaked. Use a damp sponge or a glycerine based leather soap (only a little) to clean and condition your leather.

How it works

Penitent Leather Ltd. guarantees leather products within acceptable use guidelines. Always ensure you are aware of the nature of your purchase. Each product's use guidelines can be found within their product classification : light or rough play.

Light Play

Light play products are designed for fashion first, and play second. While light play products should be approximately as strong as any other product with direct leather to leather rivet fasteners, Penitent Leather Ltd. recognizes that most products made this way can break during heavier play or harder use. Light play products that fail will be replaced if a buckle seizes and fails, or a clasp no longer functions within 90 days of original purchase. Penitent Leather Ltd. will not send replacement products for rivets failing as a result of hand pulling. A light play product should be able to withstand a sustained tug, but heavy struggling is likely to damage the product. A request for a replacement product must be accompanied by adequate proof of damage* All replacement products will be shipped within normal timeframes for purchase of a new product, and must be shipped at customer expense.

Heavy Play

Heavy Play products are designed to withstand heavy play, but they are not suspension rated. Any suspension done with a Penitent product is undergone entirely at user risk. 

If a heavy play product fails during normal use (non-mechanical bondage with only single human pull strength) Penitent Leather Ltd. will send a replacement product with adequate proof of damage*. If a rivet, buckle, or clasp fails within 90 days of original purchase during normal use, Penitent Leather Ltd. will send a replacement product within normal timeframes for purchase of a new product. All replacement products must be shipped at customer expense. . 

*Adequate proof of damage is a photographic record of the damaged part, and the nature of the failure, and a description of the use the product was engaged in at the time of failure.
